Amanda Bynes charged with hit-and-run

Amanda Bynes has been charged with two counts of hit-and-run relating to alleged incidents in April and August, a spokesperson for the L.A. City Attorney’s Office told People.

26-year-old Bynes faces up to one year in jail if convicted on both of the misdemeanor counts, People reports.

This isn’t the first legal woe for the actress. In June, Bynes pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence, following her April 6 arrest.

EW reached out to Bynes’ rep, who did not immediately respond.
