'666 Park Avenue': Vanessa Williams teases 'big' episode

One of the more popular comments on our react to the 666 Park Avenue series premiere was, "I want more Vanessa Williams." Well, you'll get to see a bit of Olivia, wife of the building's devilish owner, Gavin Doran (Terry O'Quinn), in the second episode this Sunday (ABC, 10 p.m. ET) when Jane (Rachael Taylor) and Henry (Dave Annable) invite the Dorans over for dinner. That meal is a chance for viewers to learn how long Henry and Jane have been together, but don't expect Gavin and Olivia to share intimate details of their relationship just yet. The couple's back story remains a mystery — even to the actors. "We still don't know how they met," O'Quinn tells EW. "We don't know much except that they had a daughter who they lost. When she was 18-years-old, she died. We find out a lot more about that in episode 3."

That Oct. 21 episode is "big" for Olivia, Williams says. "It's about the anniversary of her daughter's death, and seeing what happens to her emotionally," she teases. "So you'll see much of Olivia coming up soon."

Speaking of the daughter, a popular theory after the premiere was that the building's resident young psychic Nona (Samantha Logan) is actually Olivia's child. Williams, of course, wouldn't comment. Probably a good call: Asked how he'd punish a costar who slipped and revealed a show secret, O'Quinn laughs. "I don't know. I'll throw them down the elevator shaft," he says. "Unless it's Vanessa. I can't spare her."
