'NCIS: LA' promotes Hetty ... for president?

Now here's a candidate that America — or at least NCIS:LA fans — can get their head around! To help promote the current season of NCIS:LA, the second highest-rated drama on CBS, the show decided to have a little fun during this election year by billing Linda Hunt, aka Henrietta "Hetty" Lange, as a presidential hopeful.

Hey, why the heck not? She certainly looks tough enough.

For the truly rabid fans, Hetty for President coffee cups and bumper stickers are available on the network's website. The "campaign" is actually the brainchild of NCIS:LA's Executive Producer Shane Brennan, who wanted to prop up the drama's 60-something fan fave.
