Wildfox Couture’s Spring 2013 look book and ad campaign — called “The Kid’s In America” — pays homage to the characters from Amy Heckerling’s 1995 Valley Girl adaptation of Emma.

Models styled like Cher (Alicia Silverstone), Dionne (Stacey Dash) and Tai (Brittany Murphy), pose against a tableaux of scenes straight from the flick. The clothes themselves are a nod to the movie, including logo T-shirts emblazoned with classic ’90s catchphrases.

“It’s capturing a moment. I think I felt it first when I was about 12 around when Clueless came out and I was so in love with the characters,” Wildfox designer Kimberley Gordon writes in a post about the collection that appears on the label’s blog. “I didn’t just love the clothes, I loved the girls who wore the clothes – which made me want to wear them even more.”

The girls trade Buns of Steel for an exercise ball, and look a lot happier than Tai did when Cher tried to kick-start her exercise regimen. Though what’s with the legwarmers? They’re, like, so totally ’80s.
