Gerald McRaney to star on 'Southland'

Major Dad is coming to Southland!

Gerald McRaney, whose credits also include Mike & Molly, Deadwood and The A-Team, will play Det. Hicks, a retired police officer who was Officer John Cooper’s (Michael Cudlitz) training officer. He now drinks a little too much and lives on a boat in Marina Del Rey.

McRaney is set to recur for at least five episodes.

Southland returns to TNT for its fifth season on Feb. 13 at 10 p.m. The cop drama also stars Shawn Hatosy, C. Thomas Howell, Regina King and Ben McKenzie.
