We made it through the blizzard! That means it’s time to warm up and dry off with a week of musical performances and Bruce Willis blowing things up.
That and several other post-disater to-dos for this week’s planner. Don’t forget to tell us what we missed.
SUNDAY
The 55th Annual Grammy Awards, 8 p.m., CBS
It’s The Grammy’s, that really big awards show that doesn’t involve James Franco trying to do everything. Instead, advance buzz is building for a double-shot of Mumford & Sons, whether or not fun. will be anointed as the new Band of America, and the return of Timberlake.
MONDAY
The Following, 9 p.m., Fox
This week on Fox’s violently twisty new serial killer drama: more violence and more twists, including another development in the (love?) triangle between faux-gay cultists Jacob and Paul and their pixie leader, Emma.
TUESDAY
Broke with Expensive Taste by Azealia Banks hits stores
Banks is finally releasing her debut album after her career was kick-started with last year’s EP, 1991 EP. Fans already got a partial listen with the low-voiced and rattling first single, “BBD.”
WEDNESDAY
Southland season premiere, 10 p.m., TNT
The high-tension, high-grit L.A. cop drama returns for its fifth season, with Ben McKenzie and his fellow officers facing new challenges in the form of old demons and new colleagues (Chad Michael Murray). Word around the office is the premiere is good.
THURSDAY
A Good Day to Die Hard opens in theaters
Bruce Willis reprises his role as John McClane reprising his role in the ‘80s action franchise that will not die. Justin Long is out. Russians are in. And — oh yeah — John has a son (Jai Courtney).
FRIDAY
Touch, 9 p.m., Fox
The mystical mystery-drama starring Kiefer Sutherland premieres in its permanent second season time-slot with an episode entitled “Enemy of My Enemy” that plunges further into the mysterious drama surrounding Aster Corps.
SATURDAY
Saturday Night Live, 11:30 p.m., NBC
Christoph Waltz is hosting this week’s SNL with musical guest Alabama Shakes. Waltz — who probably won’t win an Oscar this year (one is enough!) — will hopefully get a chance to show off his wacky way with accents.
SUNDAY
The Amazing Race, 8 p.m., CBS
CBS’ worldwide racing show is back for its 22nd season. Racers are still competing for $1 million, but the rules come with a new twist: something called “express passes,” which will ease traveling just as it complicates strategy.
