Christoph Waltz and Fred Armisen co-star in 'SNL' promos

There may be gushing fountains of blood on Saturday Night Live this weekend, especially if the show presents a Django Unchained parody in honor of host Christoph Waltz — but ultra-violent images are nowhere to be found in Waltz's recently released promos.

In lieu of mass murder, Waltz contents himself with threatening his glasses twin Fred Armisen, freaking out about how unprepared SNL is for this week's show — an encouraging sign — and watching Armisen amuse himself on an electric lift. There's absolutely no reason to hide your eyes, unless gentle hijinks terrify you. Watch below:
