Rupert Grint is making the leap to the small screen to star in Greg Garcia’s (Raising Hope) new single-camera CBS comedy. A representative for the Harry Potter actor confirmed the Hollywood Reporter‘s story that Grint will play the role of Clyde — a sweet, anxious fast-food employee who loves comic books and dreams of being a superhero. When he discovers that he’s set to inherit $100,000 a month from a dead relative, he decides that his wealth will be his super power.
A rags-to-riches philanthropic superhero who uses his money for good? Sounds fun enough, but hopefully Clyde will at least buy himself an awesome costume.
