UPDATED: Broadcast networks have largely picked their new shows as they ready their fall schedule presentations to advertisers in New York (the upfronts get underway May 13). Here’s an updated look at the pilots they’ve shot in their quest to find the next hits. Pilots that have been greenlit to series are marked in green nd we’ll grey out ones that are confirmed dead. DRAMAS

WILD BLUE. ER, The West Wing and Top Gun collide in this young ensemble about the working men and women on board a US Aircraft Carrier. Equipped with a 500 foot landing strip, a nuclear reactor and 6000 souls on board, Wild Blue is an upstairs/downstairs look at pressure-cooker lives of the US Navy. Will Rothhaar stars.

GANG RELATED. Follows a gang member who is sent in to infiltrate the San Francisco Police Department As he rises through the ranks, he must balance his obligations to his crime family with an increasing sense of loyalty to his new “family” – the SFPD’s Gang Task Force. Ramon Rodriguez and Terry O’Quinn star.

BOOMERANG. Focuses on the usual, everyday drama surrounding a family business — except this family is in the business of executing hits as assassins for the U.S. government. Anthony LaPaglia, Felicity Huffman star.

SLEEPY HOLLOW. Follows Ichabod Crane as he partners with Sleepy Hollow’s local female sheriff to solve the mysteries of a town ravaged by the battle between good and evil. Tom Mison stars.

DELIRIUM. Based on bestselling trilogy about a world where love is deemed illegal and is able to be eradicated with a special procedure. With 95 days to go until her scheduled treatment, Lena Holoway does the unthinkable: she falls in love. Emma Roberts, Corey Reynolds and Billy Campbell star.

THE LIST. Centers on U.S. Marshal Dan Shaker, who leads the hunt for the person who stole “the list” — a file with the identities of every member in the Federal Witness Security Program — after those in the program begin popping up dead. Michael Pena and Gary Cole star.

RAKE. Follows the chaotic and comedic life of criminal defense lawyer. Brilliant, frustratingly charming, and with zero filter, Keegan is one of life’s great addicts. In addition to Keegan’s cases within the justice system, the show follows his personal trials and tribulations, including his ongoing battle against the IRS, his mounting debt to his bookie, overlapping affairs and liaisons with women, a hormonal son, an exhausted ex-wife and the evolving relationship between his two married best friends. ALMOST HUMAN. An action-packed buddy cop show, set in the near future, when all LAPD officers are partnered with highly evolved human-like androids. Karl Urban and Michael Ealy stars.

COMEDIES

SURVIVING JACK. Based upon the book I Suck at Girls, by Justin Halpern. A story about a boy becoming a man, and a man becoming a father, in a time before coming of age was something you could Google. Christopher Meloni stars.

US & THEM. Friends and family are the best support and the worst nightmare when two very different lovers meet and try to make a long distance relationship work. Based on the hit BBC series Gavin & Stacey. Jason Ritter stars.

THE GABRIELS. A neurotic family with contempt for all things normal tries their best to fit into their small Midwest town where everyone knows each other and politeness reigns. Rob Riggle, Angela Kinsey star..

TO MY ASSISTANT. Based upon the blog and upcoming book To My Assistant, by Lydia Whitlock. Assistants at a big NY law firm band together as a family to help each other cope with the obnoxious overbearing bosses who challenge their sanity on a daily basis. Brittany Snow, Catherine O’Hara star.

DADS. Two successful guys in their 30s have their world turned upside down when their dads move in with them. Seth Green, Giovanni Ribisi, Brenda Song stars.

ENLISTED. After being in combat for several years, Pete is stationed at a military base in Florida to tackle the toughest job of them all — leading his dysfunctional brothers’ squad. Geoff Stults stars.

TWO WRONGS. Two star-crossed lovers, Nick & Jenny, must contend with Nick’s family’s strong dislike of Jenny — the woman who left Nick at the altar seven years ago. Keli Garner, Jake Hoffman star.

KILLER WOMEN:. It’s hard to fit in when you’re the only woman in the notoriously male Texas Rangers, but that doesn’t stop Molly Parker – our ballsy, beautiful badass who knows how to get to the truth and isn’t afraid to ruffle a few feathers on her way there. MURDER IN MANHATTAN. Hour long dramedy set in NYC centering on a mother and daughter who team up as amateur sleuths. Bridget Regan, Brendan Hines, Annie Potts star.

RECKLESS. When his wife is unjustly imprisoned during a political uprising overseas, resourceful problem solver David desperately pursues every legal option to secure her release. But when he’s stymied by the US government in the name of diplomacy, David is forced to consider less-than-legal options – entering a world of political intrigue, dangerous alliances and high emotional stakes as he crafts an elaborate scheme to do what our government cannot: topple a brutal dictator and bring his wife home. MARVEL’S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Based on the fictional and secret law-enforcement agency in the Marvel Universe. Clark Gregg, Ming-Na, Brett Dalton, Elizabeth Henstridge, Ian De Caestecker, Chloe Bennet.

WESTSIDE. A soap about the haves and the have-nots of California’s most seductive city, Venice. VENICE will focus on two rival families and a forbidden and dangerous romance emerging between them as the two families battle for control of Venice. COMEDIES

BACK IN THE GAME. Single camera. When Terry Gannon, a recently divorced, single mother, temporarily moves in with her estranged father, a beer swilling former baseball player, she reluctantly starts coaching her son’s underdog little league team and is drawn back into the world of sports she vowed to leave behind. James Caan and Ben Koldyke star.

BAD MANAGEMENT. Single camera. A slightly self-centered female boss at a high end luxury goods department store finds her ways challenged when the boss’s son comes to town and makes youth and sex the new company focus. Sharon Horgan, David Spade, Rachael Harris and Alan Thicke star.

DIVORCE: A LOVE STORY. A multi-camera comedy revolving around Kenny and Robin, a recently divorced couple, who were bad together but discover they’re even worse apart and can’t seem to stay out of each others’ lives. Based on the Israeli format, Life Isn’t Everything. Andrea Anders, Jason Jones, Adam Goldberg andRegina King star.

KING JOHN. Based on John Leguizamo’s life as a husband, father and fish out of water on the upper West Side of New York. Woven into this world are his privileged wife, his friends from his life back in the Bronx, his mother and grandfather who try to keep him grounded in his Latin roots, and his own kids who he worries are getting spoiled and losing touch with reality. MIDDLE AGE RAGE. A middle-aged mother is fed up with feeling invisible and begins to speak up and demand the respect she feels she’s earned. Annie Mumolo, Melanie Leishman, Will Sasso,Wyatt Oleff star.

MIXOLOGY. Set in the world of a sexy Manhattan bar, the high-concept comedy from the writers of “The Hangover” chronicles the exploits of singles in search of love– all over the course of one night. Blake Lee; Andrew Santino, ; Kate Simses, Adam Campbell, Craig Frank, Vanessa Lengies star.

PULLING. The story of three dysfunctional women in their 30s living their lives the way they want, even if society tells them they should have it all figured out by this point. June Raphael, Matt Oberg, Jenny Slate and Kristin Schaal star.

SPY. A well intentioned father of a highly intelligent and verbal son, who also happens to be his complete opposite, inadvertently takes a job at the secret service in order to prove himself a worthy father. Rob Corddry, Paget Brewster, Mason Cook, Ken Jeong star.

SUPER FUN NIGHT. Kimmie and her two best friends since high school have an awesome Friday night tradition of staying home in their pj’s and hanging out with each other, but when Kimmie gets a big promotion at her law firm and is invited to a party by the cute transfer from the London office, she realizes that she needs to step-up her game and convince her friends to take Super Fun Night on the road. THE GOLDBERGS. A multigenerational, dysfunctional Wonder Years set in simpler times, inspired by Goldberg’s own experience growing up in the ’80s with a highly screwed up but loving family. Wendi McLendon-Covey, Jeff Garlin and George Segel star.

TROPHY WIFE. Reformed party girl Kate finds herself with an insta-family when she falls in love with a man with three manipulative kids and two judgmental ex-wives. Malin Akerman, Bradley Whitford, Marcia Gay Harden, Michaela Watkins and Natalie Morales star.

UNTITLED ANDREA ABBATE. Karey is the clean-nosed black sheep in a family of petty thieves, drug addicts, and narcissists – but when her brother is sent to prison, she decides to raise his kids along with her adopted African American son and give them the normal lives they deserve. THE SURGEON GENERAL. Medical show centered around America’s doctor: the Surgeon General of the United States. Jason Isaacs stars.

THE ORDAINED. The drama follows the son of a Kennedy-esque family who leaves the priesthood and becomes a lawyer to get closer to his family’s enemies and prevent his politician sister from being assassinated. Charlie Cox stars.

RECKLESS. Sultry legal show set in Charleston, South Carolina, where a gorgeous Yankee litigator and a Southern City Attorney struggle to hide their intense attraction while clashing over a police sex scandal. Cam Gigandet stars.

BEVERLY HILLS COP. Continuation of the movie franchise, centered around Axel Foley’s police officer son, who takes down the criminal elements of the rich and famous in Beverly Hills. Brandon T. Jackson and Eddie Murphy star.

NCIS LA: RED. The planted spinoff, will follow a small mobile team of agents, who are forced to live and work together, as they crisscross the country solving crimes. John Corbett stars.

THE ADVOCATES. A female lawyer and a male ex-con team up as “victim advocates,” going to the very edge of the law to right wrongs and fight for the underdog. Directed by pilot master David Nutter. CCH Pounder stars.

ANATOMY OF VIOLENCE. A criminal psychologist with an expertise in sociopaths who partners with a young female detective with whom he shares a conflicted past. Skeet Ulrich and Amber Tamblyn star.

HOSTAGES. A family is caught in the middle of a grand political conspiracy that will change their lives forever. Stars Toni Collette and Dylan McDermott..

INTELLIGENCE. Centered at the U.S. Cyber Command, which focuses on a unit that has been created around one agent with a very special gift, a microchip that has been implanted in his brain that allows him to access the entire electromagnetic spectrum. Josh Holloway stars.

SECOND SIGHT. Based on the UK series of the same name by Paula Milne, Second Sight is a gothic psychological thriller about a detective who is suddenly afflicted with an autoimmune virus that causes hallucinations reflective of his subconscious. He discovers that catching the killer depends as much on insight as eyesight. Jason Lee stars.

COMEDIES

FRIENDS WITH BETTER LIVES. Comedy about six best friends at very different stages of their lives. James Van Der Beek stars.

SUPER CLYDE. Single-camera comedy about a meek, unassuming fast food worker decides to become a super hero. Cast: Rupert Grint, Tyler Labine.

JACKED UP. A beloved, recently retired baseball player finds that adjusting to retirement isn’t as easy as he thought it’d be. Cast: Patrick Warburton.

THE MCCARTHYS. A single-camera family comedy about a loud, sports-crazed Boston clan. Cast: Jacki Weaver, Jack McGee.

UNTITLED TAD QUILL. A recently widowed father raises his 12-year old son while jumping back into the dating pool. Cast: Matthew Broderick, Kristin Chenoweth.

CRAZY ONES. Single-camera comedy about a father and daughter who work together in an advertising office. Cast: Robin Williams, Sarah Michelle Gellar.

MOM. A newly sober single mom tries to pull her life together in Napa Valley. Cast: Anna Faris, Sadie Calvano, Matt Jones, Spencer Daniels, Allison Janney.

WE ARE MEN. A young guy finds camaraderie living among the more experienced guys he meets in a short-term rental complex. Cast: Kal Penn, Tony Shalhoub, Jerry O’Connell, Chris Smith.

BAD TEACHER. Based on the film, a sexy, foul-mouthed divorcee becomes a teacher to find her next husband. Cast: Ari Graynor, David Alan Grier.

UNTITLED JIM GAFFIGAN. Comedian Jim Gaffigan stars as the happily married and harried NYC father of five as he is in real life.

UNTITLED ROTTENBERG/ZURITSKY. Based on an Israeli format, a married mom struggles to balance family, life, and work in this single-camera comedy. Cast: Debra Messing.

THE MILLERS: A recently divorced guy’s life gets more complicated when his parents have marital problems of their own. Will Arnett stars.

Led by adrenaline junkie T.C., this team of doctors isn’t your fresh-faced med school graduates, but instead, is composed of rogue ex-Army surgeons who have seen it all in the battlefields of Afghanistan and Iraq. CRISIS. When Washington’s most powerful players are pulled into an international conspiracy, an unlikely puppeteer will bring everyone from CEOs to The President of the United States to their knees by threatening the things they hold most dear. THE SECRET LIVES OF HUSBANDS AND WIVES. From producer Jerry Bruckheimer, secrets and lies within a tightly woven group of three couples and their families in the “idyllic” community of Saddle Hills, California. Martin Henderson, Laura Allen star.

BELIEVE. From producer J.J. Abrams, an unlikely relationship develops between a young girl with a gift and a man sprung from prison who has been tasked with protecting her from the evil elements that hunt her power. Johnny Sequoyah, Jake McLaughlin, Delroy Lindo star.

VICTOR. Based on Jo Nesbo’s forthcoming novel, is about an iconoclastic divorce attorney who helps clients embrace the hope and possibilities in their new lives. The series offers a modern look at love, marriage and relationships through the eyes of LA’s most sought-after divorce attorney. John Stamos, Matthew Lillard star.

BLOODLINE. From producer-director Pete Berg, Bloodline is a pulpy, highly stylized, thrill ride that catapults the viewer into the cheeky world of Bird Benson, a smart, irreverent and strong young girl who, due to an accident of birth, finds herself caught in the middle of an epic struggle between two warrior families set against the backdrop of modern suburbia. Skyler Samuels, Jonathan Banks star.

HATFIELDS & MCCOYS Set in present day Pittsburgh, a startling death re-ignites the feud between these two legendary families. Unleashing decades of resentment, the blue collar McCoys will put the Hatfields’ wealth and power at risk as they go to war for control of the city. Virginia Madsen, Rebecca De Mornay, Jesse Lee Soffer, Sophia Bush star.

THE BLACKLIST. The world’s most wanted criminal mysteriously turns himself in and offers to give up everyone he has ever worked with. His only condition is he will only work with a newly minted FBI agent with whom he seemingly has no connection. James Spader, Megan Boone star.

THE SIXTH GUN. A drama that’s based on the best-selling supernatural graphic novel that follows the story of six mythical guns, each with its own other-worldly powers. Michiel Huisman, Laura Ramsey star.

IRONSIDE. From a producing team that includes David Semel and Teri Weinberg, a tough, sexy but acerbic police detective relegated to a wheelchair after a shooting is hardly limited by his disability as he pushes and prods his hand-picked team to solve the most difficult cases in the city. Remake of the classic series; Blair Underwood to star.

DRACULA. This drama series re-introduces Dracula as he arrives in London, posing as Alexander Grayson, an American entrepreneur who claims that he wants to bring modern science to Victorian society. In reality, he hopes to wreak revenge on the people who ruined his life centuries earlier. There’s only one circumstance that can potentially thwart his plan: he’s fallen hopelessly in love with a young woman who appears to be the reincarnation of his dead wife. COMEDIES

DROP OFF. A raw look at the awkward, political, and intense world of elementary school drop-off, where the other parents — love them or hate them — are somehow forced to be your new best friends. Ken Marino, Kathleen Rose Perkins star.

HOLDING PATTERNS. A multicamera ensemble comedy about a group of friends whose lives completely change after they survive a plane crash. Erinn Hayes, Humphrey Ker stars.

THE FAMILY GUIDE. Single-camera comedy about a son who idolizes his blind father and is bemused by his mother’s new-found adolescence watches his family come closer together post-divorce. Eli Baker, JK Simmons, Parker Posey star.

ABOUT A BOY. Comedy centering on a bachelor whose primary goal in life is avoiding any kind of responsibility until he meets a geeky young boy. David Walton, Minnie Driver star.

ASSISTANCE. A single-camera comedy centered on an idealistic working girl assistant who is pulled between her colleague — aka work husband — and her real life fiance while trying to manage a demanding (translation: crazy) boss. Krysten Ritter stars.

DOWNTOWNERS. Bright-eyed and vulnerable Matthew Hirsch is ready to find love, but needs the help of his three best friends to survive the labyrinth of mind games and human suffering that is dating in your early twenties. Mike Castle stars.

JOE, JOE AND JANE. Comedy based on real life of Joe Wiseman and the complicated relationship between his manipulative wife Jane and his best friend Joe. Will Greenberg, Dave Annable, Sally Pressman stars.

MR. ROBINSON. Single-camera comedy that centers around a talented musician who adjusts to his new life as a middle school music teacher, where he maneuvers precocious kids, teacher politics, and the temptations of single moms. Craig Robinson stars.

WELCOME TO THE FAMILY. Cultures collide when a white family and a Latino family are bonded together by their children who fall in love followed quickly by an unplanned pregnancy. Mike O’Malley stars.

SEAN SAVES THE WORLD. Comedy centers on Sean, who must figure out how to parent his 14-year-old daughter, who just moved in, while navigating a temperamental new boss at work. Sean Hayes stars.

BRENDA FOREVER. Stories from Brenda Miller’s past and present are interwoven to give a unique portrait of how a chubby, awkward, but incredibly confident 13-year-old grew up to be a 31-year-old woman who still marches to the beat of her own drum. Ellie Kemper stars.

UNDATEABLE. Multicamera young ensemble comedy centering on a group of friends dubbed the “Undate-ables,” whose lives are altered when a more confident guy enters their world. Chris D’Elia, Brent Morin stars.

MULANEY. A multi camera young ensemble comedy that is created, written by and starring one of the hottest young stand ups, John Mulaney. It is based loosely on his life.

THE TOMORROW PEOPLE. Based on the original UK series, The Tomorrow People is the story of several young people from around the world who represent the next stage in human evolution, possessing special powers, including the ability to teleport and communicate with each other telepathically. THE ORIGINALS. Spin-off of The Vampire Diaries and centers on the Original family, as Klaus returns to the supernatural melting pot that is the French Quarter of New Orleans — a town he helped build centuries ago — and is reunited with his diabolical former protégé Marcel. BLINK. Warm, quirky, humorous drama about a family whose lives are forever changed, for better and worse, when the patriarch has a car accident resulting in a coma like syndrome where he cannot speak or move, but can see and hear all. Madeline Carroll, Johnny Simmons star.

THE HUNDRED. 97 years after a nuclear war has destroyed civilization, a massive spaceship housing the lone human survivors sends 100 juvenile delinquents with dark secrets back to Earth to investigate the possibility of re-colonizing the planet. Eliza Taylor, Paige Turco, Eli Goree, Bob Morley, Henry Ian Cusick star.

THE SELECTION. Set 300 years in the future, an epic romance centering on a working class young woman chosen by lottery to participate in a competition with 25 other women for the Royal Prince’s hand to become the nation’s next queen. Balancing her loyalty to family, true love, and kingdom, she must attempt to remain true to herself as she navigates the cutthroat competition and palace intrigue, all while a budding rebellion threatens to topple the crown. REIGN. The previously unknown and untold story of Mary Queen of Scots rise to power when she arrives in France as a 15-year-old, betrothed to Prince Francis, and with her three best friends as ladies-in-waiting. The secret history of survival at French Court amidst fierce foes, dark forces, and a world of sexual intrigue. Adelaide Kane, Toby Regbo star.

COMPANY TOWN. A scandal at a Naval base in Virginia touches the lives of both civilians and military personnel in the area, launching us into a multigenerational, multi-class, family and relationship series centered around two early 20something women who grew up together, were once best friends, but now are on opposite sides of the Townie/Military divide. Maya Kazan, Gage Golightly stars.

STAR-CROSSED. Passion and politics threaten the peace and an epic romance ignites between a human girl and an alien boy when he and eight others of his kind (The Orion 9) are integrated into a suburban high school ten years after they and hundreds of others landed on Earth and were immediately consigned to an internment camp where they’ve been imprisoned ever since.
