In the new movie Tyler Perry Presents Peeples hitting theaters this weekend, The Office‘s Craig Robinson stars as a man who meets the parents of the woman (Scandal‘s Kerry Washington) he’d like to marry. It does not go well — unlike when Robinson and David Alan Grier, who costars as the potential father-in-law, dropped by EW to take our Pop Culture Personality Test. You really don’t want to miss their reenactment of a deleted scene from E.T., which begins at 1:58 in the video below.
Bonus question!
When do you yell at the TV?
David Alan Grier: I yell during sports. And I’ll tell you a show I like, Ridiculousness. It’s a stupid show on MTV, but I love that show. I bust out laughin’ and I yell at the TV. I love Portlandia. I laugh out loud at that.
Craig Robinson: It’s a funny show.
David Alan Grier: Portlandia means so much to the black community. [Both laugh]
Craig Robinson: I don’t get to watch television, because I don’t have a television in my small apartment in Los Angeles.
David Alan Grier: Why would you say that, just to make it like you’re all intellectual and I’m, like, a whore to media?
Craig Robinson: I wasn’t saying it like that. You’re the only one who took that from that.
