* Emily Blunt (Looper) is reportedly in talks to join the ever-growing ensemble cast of Disney's Into the Woods to play the role of the Baker's (James Corden) wife. The main cast also currently includes Meryl Streep (The Witch) and Johnny Depp (The Wolf). Chris Pine and Jake Gyllenhaal are both in talks for two prince roles. Blunt recently appeared with Colin Firth in Arthur Newman and can be seen next with Tom Cruise in Doug Liman's All You Need Is Kill (out June 4). [Variety]

* Blunt's Looper co-star Bruce Willis is in negotiations to play a hitman racing against time to find an antidote for whatever he's just been poisoned with in the thriller Expiration. Brian Tucker (Broken City) wrote the script, and the producers are currently trying to find a director for the project.[Variety]

* Uma Thurman will play the controversial Anita Bryant in a biopic about her life. Bryant, a former orange juice spokesperson and Oklahoma beauty queen, became an infamous crusader against gay rights in the 70s. Lovelace directors Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman will direct Anita. [Deadline]

* Garrett Hedlund (On The Road) has joined the thriller Mojave where he'll play a suicidal artist who decides to venture into the desert to figure out his stuff. On his journey he comes across his doppelgänger, played by Oscar Isaac (Drive). Sadly his double also turns out to be a homicidal drifter. William Monahan, the Oscar-winning writer of the screenplay for The Departed, will direct the film off of his own script. Monahan previously wrote and directed 2010's London Boulevard, with Keira Knightley and Colin Farrell. [Screen Daily]

* Samuel L. Jackson (Django Unchained) will join Hailee Steinfeld (True Grit) in the Kyle Newman-directed comedy Barely Lethal, about a 16-year-old assassin whose only way out of the game is to fake her own death. Her former boss (Jackson) tracks her down, though, and gets in the way of her attempt to just be a normal high school student. [Deadline]

* Oblivion's Olga Kurylenko is headed to November Man, an espionage flick starring Pierce Brosnan (Goldeneye) as an ex-CIA man trying to expose an international conspiracy. Based on author Bill Granger's series, Roger Donaldson (The Recruit, Species) will direct off of a script co-authored by Karl Gajdusek (Oblivion) and Michael Finch (Predators). [Deadline]

* Gerard Butler (300) is in negotiations to join the sci-fi thriller The Raven, based on a 2010 short film from Peruvian director Ricardo de Montreuil, who will direct the feature about a man with a special, regime-threatening power who's on the run from the authorities in a futuristic Los Angeles. Liam Hemsworth was previously attached to the role. Mark Wahlberg will produce. [Deadline]
