Amanda Bynes threatens to sue NYPD

Embattled ex-child star Amanda Bynes was arrested May 23 for criminal possession of marijuana and allegedly throwing a bong out of a window — and since being released from custody, she's spent every moment fighting back against the charges.

Two days after claiming via Twitter that that reports about her arrest were "all lies" and that she was sexually harassed by one of the officers who arrested her, Bynes has released another long message — supposedly the "last thing" she'll say about her "mistaken arrest."

"I'm suing NYPD for illegally entering my apartment, lying about drugs on me and lying about me tampering with non existent drug paraphernalia, then I'm suing for being put into a mental hospital against my will, then locked up overnight for coming home after a facial and working out with my trainer like the good girl that I am," Bynes wrote yesterday, adding that she's "allergic" to drugs and alcohol. She repeats that the police found "no proof of any type of drug use or evidence of drug paraphernalia" in or around her apartment, and ends the note by saying that she's "looking forward to a long and wonderful career as a singer/rapper!"

A few hours later, Bynes released another statement about inflammatory tweets that were posted to her account on Sunday. The messages, since deleted, attacked Rihanna, saying that Chris Brown abused her because the singer is "not pretty enough." In the newer note, Bynes claims that screenshots of the tweets were "mocked-up images," and that she has no beef with Rihanna: "Rihanna and I met and I'm sure we'll be in a music video together one day!"

That last bit seems unlikely, given the way Rihanna responded to Bynes's insults on her own Twitter page: "Ya see what happens when they cancel Intervention?"
