'Kinky Boots' musical gets national tour for 2014

Everybody say yeah!

After winning six Tonys — including Best Musical — this past weekend, Kinky Boots will kick off a national tour beginning in Las Vegas in September 2014, EW has confirmed.

Adapted by Harvey Fierstein from the 2005 movie and featuring a score by Cyndi Lauper, the high-energy show revolves around a British shoe factory on the verge of bankruptcy that gets a second chance by going into the niche market of making thigh-high boots for drag queens. Self-acceptance for everyone!

The Broadway production began previews on March 3, and officially opened on April 4. Fans can listen to the whole soundtrack, or check out their Tony performance – with Tony Award-winning star Billy Porter – below:
