Viewers have watched Real World castmembers cause fights in Philadelphia, make love in Miami, and party it up in Las Vegas. But for the 29th season of the groundbreaking reality series, MTV has decided to go back to the Golden Gate City. The third season of The Real World, set in San Fran, featured the late Pedro Zamora who introduced serious discussions about homosexuality and AIDS to the mainstream media and TV viewers everywhere.

Jonathan Murray, one of the creators of The Real World, told EW, “We’re excited about returning to San Francisco, the location of one of our most memorable seasons of The Real World. The city has always been a great place for young people to explore who they are and what they want to do with their lives.”

The 29th season will air sometime in 2014.
