Kanye West gushes about Kim Kardashian on 'Kris': 'She is my joy'

On Monday, Kanye West taped an interview with Kris Jenner, his girlfriend’s mom, and — surprise! — he said really nice things about his girlfriend. But while his politeness toward Kim Kardashian’s mom was expected, we were surprised to hear such adorable words coming from the typically gruff rapper.

In this clip from Friday’s episode of Kris, West says that, although he hates the paparazzi, he loves Kardashian enough to stay with her in spite of the extra attention. He even says his friends warned him that dating the reality star could harm his credibility as an artist and a designer.

“I’m being with this person because I love this person,” he says. “She’s worth it to me. She is my joy and she brought my new joy into the world.”
