Miley Cyrus responds on Twitter to Sinead O'Connor

So Miley Cyrus probably isn’t going to be taking Sinead O’Connor‘s advice to heart.

Yesterday, O’Connor wrote an open letter to Cyrus, saying, in part, “Nothing but harm will come in the long run, from allowing yourself to be exploited…The music business doesn’t give a sh– about you, or any of us. They will prostitute you for all you are worth, and cleverly make you think it’s what YOU wanted… None of the men oggling you give a sh– about you either, do not be fooled.”

Miley responded to the already-viral sentiment with a silent nod (tongue firmly in mouth) as she put on some pants and went back to singing like this. Just kidding!

Cyrus just tweeted out, “Before Amanda Bynes…. There was….” before displaying a screengrab of what appeared to be O’Connor’s Twitter account (Handle: @vampyahslayah) which showed O’Connor asking for help. “does any1 know a psychiatrist in Dublin or wicklow who could urgently see my today please?” the screengrab reads. “Im really un-well…and in danger….i desperately need to get back on meds today,” the tweets read. (Ugh, Miley, I know you don’t like advice, but don’t make fun of someone’s mental illness. It just makes it harder to defend you.)

The account Cyrus screengrabbed isn’t O’Connor’s Twitter currently (O’Connor’s rep told us “No, Sinead doesn’t tweet.” However, the tweets in question were once reported to be Sinead’s). Either way, we all just got a preview of Miley Cyrus’ Saturday Night Live monologue for this weekend (perhaps she’ll also tear up a picture of the Pope?)
