PopWatch Planner: 'House of Cards', 'Pretty Little Liars', and more

Newsflash: This week is all about the Olympics. So if at any point, you feel the need for a good sports fix, simply change the channel to see what’s happening in Sochi. It is always acceptable, and often encouraged. That being said, we wanted to make sure you had a list of entertainment options that didn’t involve skin-tight uniforms and/or Bob Costas’ pinkeye.

Olympics aside, here’s what you’re looking at for your upcoming week of pop culture adventures:

SUNDAY 2/9

Keeping Up With the Kardashians, 9 p.m., E!

It’s time for part 1 of Kim’s big birthday surprise, a.k.a. when Kanye West reveals his big engagement plans to the rest of the family. We might know how it all ends, but that only makes us want to watch it more.

MONDAY 2/10

Almost Human, 8 p.m., Fox

This week’s episode has elements of mystery — what is killing genetically enhanced children? — combined with Kennex visiting a recollection specialist to find out more about his painful flashbacks.

TUESDAY 2/11

Pretty Little Liars, 8 p.m., ABC Family

In this special black-and-white episode, the viewer travels inside Spencer’s mind and into the world of film noir. Expect romance, danger, and, as always, a lie or two.

WEDNESDAY 2/12

The Outsiders by Eric Church

Church’s new country album hit shelves yesterday, and according to EW’s own Nick Catucci, it’s “the first great album of this year.”

THURSDAY 2/13

The Taste, 8 p.m., ABC

One word: Beer. What comes next? We have no idea, but we will be tuning in to find out (and perhaps add a recipe to our own cookbook).

FRIDAY 2/14

House of Cards season 2 on Netflix

The critically acclaimed drama is finally back, which means we’re spending Valentine’s Day with our favorite D.C. power couple: Frank and Claire Underwood, who will appear in 13 new episodes. Now who’s ready for some ribs?

SATURDAY 2/15

Winter’s Tale in theaters

All right, all right. Because we didn’t let you watch a romantic movie on Valentine’s Day, we’re making it up to you now. If Colin Farrell and Russell Crowe don’t say we’re sorry, we’re not sure what does.

SUNDAY 2/16

Shameless, 9 p.m., Showtime

Post-accident, Liam’s in the hospital, Fiona’s in county jail, and by the end of the hour, Frank is the one getting bad news about his health. Talk about drama.
