Sharon Osbourne has had it with singing competition shows — all 600 of them.

Some background: Osbourne was a judge on the original X Factor in the U.K. from 2004 to 2007 and once again in 2013, as well as on America’s Got Talent from 2007 to 2012. But this doesn’t make her a fan of these sorts of series.

“I’ve had it with people singing at me, and I’ve had it with watching people sing on TV,” Osbourne told Conan O’Brien when she went on Conan Wednesday night, complaining about both contestants with horrible sob stories and the quality of the singing itself.

“Oh, for God’s sake, I’m seeing some guy that looks like Meatloaf’s offspring throwing himself around onstage on some bloody talent show and everybody’s going, ‘you rock, you rock!'” she continued. “It’s like, ‘oh, shut up, love, send him home! He’s crap!'”

She went on to note that even though The Voice tries to act like it elevates, well, voices above everything else, that isn’t exactly true in practice: “Everything that matters is the voice. Well, hold on here. That’s great when you’re butt f—ing ugly, and you’re like 9000 pounds — what the f— are we going to do with you?” snarked Osbourne. She did, however, end the interview with a disclaimer: “I’m just on a downer today, that’s all.” Suuure, Sharon.
