'The Leftovers' teaser: Stages of grief

Denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance, and perhaps an extra dose of anger are at the center of HBO’s new teaser for The Leftovers, Damon Lindelof’s next project.

Based on Tom Perrotta’s eponymous 2011 bestseller, The Leftovers stars Justin Theroux, Liv Tyler, Amy Brenneman, and more as a group of New York residents who are left to pick up their lives three years after 2 percent of the world’s population suddenly disappears. (Hence the five stages of grief.)
