Screenwriter Amanda Harlib is making her directorial debut on the project, which is currently in production in New Orleans. [THR]

• Rose Byrne is being eyed for a role in The Something, about astronauts who get lost in space. She’d be re-teaming with her Neighbors producers and studio (Universal) if she signs on. [THR]

• Djimon Hounsou (Gladiator) has signed on to play Chief Mbonga in Tarzan. He’ll co-star alongside Alexander Skarsgard and Margot Robbie in the David Yates pic. [Deadline]
