The box office continues to bow down to Kevin Hart. The comedian, already the cock of the walk with his Ride Along victory just five months ago, has another hit on his hands with Think Like a Man Too. The sequel to Steve Harvey’s best-selling relationship opus cruised to the #1 spot on Friday with a $12.2 million haul. (Take that, 23% score on Rotten Tomatoes!) The Tim Story-directed laffer, which also stars Michael Ealy, Regina Hall, and Meagan Good, follows the gang to Las Vegas for a wedding weekend. Think Like A Man Too played in 2,225 theaters and is on track to bring in opening weekend numbers comparable to the original’s $33.6 million bow in 2012.

Meanwhile the weekend’s other big new release Jersey Boys, Clint Eastwood’s adaptation of the Broadway juggernaut, opened in 4th place with $4.6 million in 2,905 locations. The film, starring John Lloyd Young, the beloved Broadway star who originated the role of Frankie Valli on stage, is saddled with middling critical reception (a droopy 55% on Rotten Tomatoes) that question Eastwood’s grasp on the adaptation. But Warner Bros. is counting on rallied support from the “Sherry Baby” generation as well as the passionate base of Jersey Boys theater fans. Rounding out the top 5 are 22 Jump Street, hanging tight at No.2, How to Train Your Dragon 2, and Maleficent, who refuses to give up her box office grasp at No. 5. With just over half a million dollars separating Maleficent from the No. 4 spot, she may get those Jersey Boys yet.

Here’s the top 5:

1. Think Like a Man Too — $12.2 million

2. 22 Jump Street — $9.4 million

3. How to Train Your Dragon 2 — $7.6 million

4. Jersey Boys — $4.6 million

5. Maleficent — $4 million
