'The Mindy Project' adds 'Fargo' star Allison Tolman

Allison Tolman will check into The Mindy Project this fall, EW has confirmed.

The Emmy-nominated Fargo star will guest-star on the Fox comedy for two episodes as a romance novelist who ends up on a bad blind date with Adam Pally’s Peter. The news was first reported by TV Guide Magazine.

Tolman joins previously announced guest-stars Niecy Nash, Shonda Rhimes, Rob McElhenney and Rhea Perlman.

The Mindy Project returns Sept. 16 at 9:30 p.m. on Fox.
