Fox sets 'Wayward Pines' premiere date

Fox has set a global premiere date for M. Night Shyamalan’s event series Wayward Pines, which will launch in 125 countries on the same day.

The 10-episode thriller, also executive-produced by Chad Hodge, will launch Thursday, May 14 at 9 p.m. ET, marking the world’s largest day-and-date launch for a scripted series ever.

The series stars Matt Dillon as a Secret Service agent on the hunt for two missing federal agents in Wayward Pines, ID. Melissa Leo, Terrence Howard, Carla Gugino, Toby Jones and Juliette Lewis also star.
