Creed was always the most mysterious character on The Office, but the season-four trailer for Comedy Bang! Bang! lets us in on one of his secrets: He’s been the grandfather from The Princess Bride all along.

The trailer kicks off with Creed—a.k.a. actor Creed Bratton—introducing the concept of books to his grandson, who’s busy playing video games. Grandpa Creed promises that, like the story in The Princess Bride, this book “has heroes and villains and fencing and fighting, and maybe even a little romance.” And, as the trailer shows, it also has a lot of cool guest stars.

Maya Rudolph, Mark Duplass, Nick Kroll, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Ty Burrell, and Maria Bamford are some of the performers who show up in the trailer, which teases an absurd-as-ever season of the Scott Aukerman-hosted show.

Comedy Bang! Bang! returns to IFC for its fourth season at 11 p.m. on Jan. 9.
