Australian multi-hyphenate Ruby Rose will appear on the upcoming season of Orange Is the New Black. Netflix confirmed that Rose will play a Litchfield inmate named Stella Carlin "whose sarcastic sense of humor and captivating looks quickly draw the attention of some of Litchfield's inmates."

And while that's intriguing, what's more intriguing for fans of the show's romantic entanglement plot lines is how Rose's character is described in Elle, based on a photo Rose posted to her Facebook. According to Elle, Rose will be the "lust object of both Piper and Alex."

Over the summer the out Rose—a model, DJ and more, who has described herself as "gender fluid"—starred in a video about identity that went viral. She told The Guardian: "You can watch it both ways: you can watch it from the end to the beginning, and it's exactly the same as watching it from the start to the end, depending if you're a guy that feels like he's in a woman's body or a woman that's in a guy's body."
