Get your first look at Vince Gilligan, David Shore's 'Battle Creek'

Crimes in Battle Creek, Mich., are taken seriously, but the local law enforcement has to contend with an unusual set of criminals.

In a new look at CBS’ upcoming Battle Creek, FBI agent Milton Chamberlain (Josh Duhamel) and detective Russ Agnew (Dean Winters) must team up to take down crime in the titular rural Michigan town. Thankfully, some of the local criminals actually have some manners.

The buddy cop drama has been almost a decade in the making, coming from a script Breaking Bad‘s Gilligan first wrote years ago. The cast also includes Janet McTeer, Kal Penn, Edward Fordham Jr., and Aubrey Dollar.

Battle Creek, which is produced by Gilligan and House creator David Shore, will premiere on March 1 at 10 p.m.
