Woody Allen is getting in the TV business with Amazon. Fresh off the site’s Golden Globes win for Transparent, Amazon announced today that it has enlisted Allen to make his first TV series. The half-hour, currently untitled series has been given a full season order, Amazon said, and the Annie Hall director will write and direct the episodes.

“I don’t know how I got into this. I have no ideas and I’m not sure where to begin. My guess is that Roy Price will regret this,” Allen said in a statement.

In 2014 Allen released the tepidly received Magic in the Moonlight, starring Emma Stone. The next film project from the prolific Allen stars Stone and Joaquin Phoenix.

Last year, Allen faced renewed allegations of abuse from adopted daughter Dylan Farrow.
