'New Girl' welcomes Jack McBrayer, Regis Philbin for season finale

Jack McBrayer and Regis Philbin are heading to New Girl, EW has learned exclusively.

30 Rock alum McBrayer, who currently stars on Adult Swim’s The Jack and Triumph Show, will appear in the season finale as Wally, a sweet but skeptical Donations Center employee who takes his job very seriously, which is unfortunate for Schmidt (Max Greenfield) after he drops off an important item from the loft at the center.

Philbin will also cameo as himself in a storyline that will usher Damon Wayans Jr., who plays loft mate Coach, off the series as a regular.

The duo join other upcoming guest-stars Josh Gad, Justin Long, JJ Watt, Nora Dunn and Fiona Gubelmann.

New Girl airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Fox.
