Tim Burton attached to direct live-action 'Dumbo' for Disney

Tim Burton brought Disney’s Wonderland to life, and now he’s headed to the circus. EW has confirmed that Burton is attached to direct a live-action take on Dumbo. Walt Disney Pictures president of production Sean Bailey broke the news to The Wall Street Journal on Tuesday.

The project is still being developed, but, according to the Journal, will combine actors and computer generated effects. Bailey told the Journal, “It’s a big world.”

Ehren Kruger, of various Transformers films, is writing the film.
