Per a report in the Wall Street Journal, a deal that would have Seinfeld streaming is in the works. The Journal reported that while Netflix passed on the show, Hulu, Amazon, and Yahoo are bidding, and Sony Pictures Television “expects to have a deal wrapped up in the next few weeks.” According to the Journal‘s sources each episode could cost “well north” of $500,000.

Netflix acquired Seinfeld‘s Must See TV partner Friends, which began streaming in January.
