Watch the first 'Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation' teaser trailer

Ethan Hunt is back, and unsurprisingly, things aren’t looking up for the master spy.

Paramount has released the first teaser for the fifth Mission: Impossible film, along with an official title, Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation. Tom Cruise returns as Hunt, along with familiar faces from the franchise like Jeremy Renner and Simon Pegg. The team is reuniting to take down the Syndicate, a crime organization that Pegg’s Benji describes as the “anti-IMF.”

And, as a hint of the literal heights the movie is going to, Hunt outdoes his skyscraper scaling from Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol by hanging onto the side of a plane as it takes off.

So don’t expect Hunt to take things easy this time around.

As the clip suggests, however, this is just a tease for the full trailer, which will drop on March 23. Cruise himself teased the arrival on his Twitter, so stay tuned for the lengthier look to arrive on Monday.

Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation, directed by Christopher McQuarrie, will debut in theaters on July 31.
