Nominations were announced today for the 42nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, and long-running soap General Hospital (ABC) is in the lead with 28 noms. The show’s potential accolades include multiple Outstanding Lead Actor and Actress nominations, and a run at Best Drama.

Among talk shows, The Ellen DeGeneres Show earned 10 nominations, while The Wendy Williams Show, with its first-ever nominations, is up for Best Entertainment Talk Show and Best Entertainment Talk Show Host. Ellen DeGeneres and Wendy Williams will compete with Live with Kelly and Michael and CBS’s The Talk for Best Entertainment Talk Show.

Other contenders in the Best Talk Show Host category include Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan, and the ladies of CBS’s The Talk: Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Aisha Tyler, and Sheryl Underwood.

Craig Ferguson was nominated as a game show host for his Celebrity Name Game—he’ll compete against Family Feud‘s Steve Harvey, Wheel of Fortune’s Pat Sajak, and Todd Newton of Discovery Family Channel’s Family Game Night.

CBS had the most nominations of any channel, with 62. PBS and syndicated series had 50 each, while ABC and NBC had 35 and 20, respectively.

The Daytime Emmys will air on April 26 on cable channel Pop: one step up from last year’s webcast-only broadcast, which made many winners decide not to attend.

For the full list of nominees, head over to The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
