Harry Styles will leave One Direction next, says Lance Bass

Harry Styles may not know it yet, but he’ll be the next one to pull a Zayn Malik and leave One Direction—at least according to Lance Bass.

The former NSYNCer gave his input on the world’s hottest boy band during a visit to The Meredith Vieira Show, where he confidently predicted that Styles would be the next to part ways from the already broken group.

“I see Harry leaving soon and I don’t see another One Direction album happening after he leaves,” Bass told Vieira.

Bass attributed his thoughts to the fact that Styles has been recording solo material, saying that he has been “ready to go solo for many months,” actually planning to leave One Direction prior to Malik’s exit. He also noted that Malik’s move was “spur of the moment,” but gave him kudos for being the first to leave.

Despite Bass’s prediction, he did say that he thinks the guys will always remain friends—as NSYNC has done since the end of its run—and that he hopes the remaining four members will carry on and make more music.
