Preacher pilot: Seth Rogen posts first photo of Jesse and Arseface from set

Say hello to Jesse and Arseface, Preacher fans, as Seth Rogen offers a first look at the characters from the upcoming AMC adaptation.

Rogen posted a photo on Twitter from the series, which has given a pilot order by AMC. The photo shows a scene between Dominic Cooper (Jesse Custer) and Ian Colletti (Eugene Root, a.k.a Arseface) in what is presumably Root’s bedroom.

The pilot also stars Ruth Negga as Tulip, Lucy Griffiths as Emily, and Joseph Gilgun as Irish vampire Cassidy.

Rogen also posted and expressed his excitement when the show went into production. He and Evan Goldberg are co-producing the show, as well as co-directing the pilot. The pilot is written by Sam Caitlin and is based off the 1990s comics from artist Steve Dillon and writer Garth Ennis.
