Old sports with $3 million to spare can now purchase the home where F. Scott Fitzgerald potentially wrote the American classic, The Great Gatsby.

The 5,000-square-foot Mediterranean-style home was built in 1918, and boasts seven bedrooms and six bathrooms. Fitzgerald and his wife, Zelda, lived there from 1922 to 1924, among the rich elite in Long Island’s “gold coast” region.

The asking price is just over $3.8 million, according to spokesperson for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. Considering New York’s real estate market, this home is a steal.

And in case you felt like channeling your inner Jay Gatsby, the house also contains a music room and several fireplaces for guests to enjoy.
