Disappointed by the predictability of a certain recent haunted house remake? Then may we recommend the much more original We Are Still Here, which opens in select cinemas and via on-demand on June 5. Directed by first-time filmmaker Ted Geoghegan, this horror film stars Barbara Crampton (Re-Animator) and Andrew Sensenig (Upstream Color) as a grieving couple who relocate to a remote house which, thanks to its ghoulish inhabitants, would not be a bargain at any price.
We Are Still Here won the best special effects award Brazil’s Fantaspoa Film Festival just last weekend and also features Lisa Marie, Monte Markham, and indie-horror overlord Larry Fessenden, among others, in the cast. Watch an exclusive debut of the film’s new trailer above.
