Diana Ross joins Twitter

Twitter increased its diva quotient Wednesday. Motown star Diana Ross joined the social media platform with little fanfare. But she’s into it.

As of this writing, Ross only follows her five children: Rhonda, Tracee (black-ish), Chudney, Ross Næss, and Evan. She’s a fast learner, taking until just her second tweet to learn that Twitter is all about self-promotion—or at least promoting your kids’ work.

The 71-year-old didn’t crush her first day like Caitlyn Jenner did, but then again, not even Barack Obama hit a million followers as quickly as Caitlyn.
