Mindy Kaling, Chris Messina join Joseph Gordon-Levitt on Hit Record

For Mindy Project fans, there are no three greater words than “Chris Messina dancing”—and in a new short film that Mindy Kaling created for Hit Record on TV with Joseph Gordon-Levitt, the actor does just that. In fact, to make things even better, he dances with Gordon-Levitt.

We’ve got an exclusive sneak peek at the upcoming season 2 premiere of Hit Record—which returns this month—in which Kaling and Messina team up with Gordon-Levitt for a short about black magic, as well as a haunting music video that proves even the gentlest souls can have a dark side. Also, Kaling plays a witch, so there’s that.
