'Looking' star Russell Tovey joins AMC's 'The Night Manager'

Looking’s Russell Tovey is now on-board for AMC’s The Night Manager along with Alistair Petrie (Utopia) and Douglas Hodge (Penny Dreadful).

AMC, BBC One and The Ink Factory announced the latest castings on Friday, with the actors joining previously announced cast members Olivia Colman, Elizabeth Debicki, Tom Hollander, Tom Hiddleston and Hugh Laurie.

The mini-series will be an adaptation of John le Carré’s 1993 novel which follows a former British solider Jonathan Pine (Hiddleston) who is recruited by an intelligence agency to infiltrate a black market arms circle led by Richard Onslow Roper (Laurie).

The Night Manager is set to debut in 2016.
