It’s an Emmy nomination that fans have long wanted to see: Tatiana Maslany received a nod in the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama series category for her work as multiple characters on Orphan Black. The nomination is Maslany’s first.

Following the nominations announcement, Maslany thanked fans on Twitter for their support.

She also gave props to fellow surprise nominee Amy Schumer.

The internet was also very pleased.

“There’s an idea that the acting is less important than the special effects [in those shows], but what’s funny about our show is that the special effects and the acting are one and the same,” Maslany told Rolling Stone earlier this year when asked about her previous snubs. “They couldn’t exist without each other. It’s not like we’re sending spaceships flying around — we’re just putting two characters played by one person in a room together. To me, our show is more of a character drama with elements of comedy and horror than a sci-fi show.”
