Whose Line is it Anyway? and Penn & Teller: Fool Us are both coming back for additional seasons, the CW announced Tuesday. This will be Whose Line‘s 12th season and Penn & Teller‘s third.
Whose Line features Ryan Stiles, Wayne Brady, and Colin Mochrie improvising with a different guest comedian each episode (Jane the Virgin‘s Gina Rodriguez was a recent guest). It first began as a British show in the late ’80s before it ended in 1998 and made the switch to U.S. television.
Penn & Teller is a competition series that pits aspiring magicians against one another, with the winner going on to perform with hosts Penn Jillette and Teller at their Las Vegas show.
Penn & Teller‘s second season currently airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET and Whose Line airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET, both on the CW.
