Rectify finale: Daniel plays catch in exclusive sneak peek

Daniel (Aden Young) has had a tough go of it — but in an exclusive clip from Rectify‘s season 3 finale, he experiences a moment of simple pleasure playing catch with a little boy at the beach.

In the clip, Daniel is sitting on the beach with his mom (J. Smith-Cameron) when a ball finds its way near their spot. He gets up and throws it to the kid, who he turns out to be pretty great with — so great that this small interaction might be foreshadowing of what career path is in Daniel’s future.
