Last week, EW debuted an exclusive sneak peek at the opening song from Disney Channel’s The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar – a spin-off of the animated classic, The Lion King. Now, the network has unveiled an extended look at the upcoming television movie which features some familiar voices and a little motto fans may remember for the rest of their days — “hakuna matata” is back, everybody.

The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar follows Simba and Nala’s son Kion, and the Lion Guard, a group of animals tasked with protecting the Pride Lands. The spin-off includes the voice talents of Rob Lowe (Simba), Gabrielle Union (Nala), Khary Payton (Rafiki), and Kevin Schon (Timon). Ernie Sabella (Pumbaa) and James Earl Jones (Mufasa) will return to reprise their roles.

In this clip, best friends Kion (Max Charles) and Bunga (Joshua Rush) are looking for a little adventure in the Pride Lands when they travel into some not-so-safe territory – the Outlands. The two encounter a pair of mischievous hyenas, eager to serve up Bunga for lunch – until Kion unleashes a crazy, powerful roar to save the day.

The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar is slated to premiere to Disney Channel in November. Check out the clip above and for more on the series, head here.
