What’s a guy to do once he reaches the upper echelons of country music fame? Play for free! At least, that’s how it goes in the world of Grammy-winning superstar Brad Paisley. The “Whiskey Lullaby” singer will tour U.S college campus this fall for his Country Nation College Tour Presented by Zaxby’s and play for free. (Which pairs nicely with the single he’s heading to radio with at the end of this month, “Country Nation.”)
The series kicks off Sept. 6 at Virginia Tech, in Blacksburg, Virginia. Other announced dates include Sept. 10 at The University of Texas, Sept. 11 at Baylor University, and Sept. 12 at University of Arkansas.
“Country Nation” is off Paisley’s most recent album, Moonshine in the Trunk, which features his 19th—and first in more than three years—Country radio no.1 song “Perfect Storm.” He’s currently on tour, a full list of dates are available on his website.
