Future Man: Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg comedy ordered by Hulu

Hulu may be headed to the future, man.

The streaming service has ordered a comedy pilot titled Future Man. The pilot, which will be executive produced and directed by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, centers on a a janitor who also is a world-ranked gamer. The guy is chaged with saving the human race from exinction after visitors hailing from the future ” proclaim him the key to defeating the imminent super-race invasion.”

Future Man is being written by Ariel Schaffir and Kyle Hunter, who served as executive producers of two Rogen and Goldberg films, The Interview and This is the End.

Rogen and Goldberg are also executive-producing and directing the pilot for AMC’s adaptation of the comic book series The Preacher.
