Tom Hardy may have played the titular hero in Mad Max: Fury Road, but as has been pointed out many times, Max largely plays second fiddle to Charlize Theron’s Imperator Furiosa. But at least he gets to grunt a lot.
Screen Junkies’ Honest Trailer for the summer blockbuster relives the film’s feminist focus, the sandstorm that we all knew was secretly sponsored by Darude, and the “two-hour game of Mario Kart from hell.” Though warning — the trailer may make you wonder just a bit too much about the excessive use of gasoline and wasted water in a world where both are precious commodities.
