Sofia Vergara: Peg Bundy picture teases Ed O'Neill

Sofia Vergara delivered a blast from the past to costar Ed O’Neill on her Instagram account, as the Modern Family actress dressed up like a familiar character from O’Neill’s sitcom past: Peggy Bundy.

Peggy, played by Katey Sagal, was married to O’Neill’s Al Bundy on Married… with Children, while Vergara currently plays his wife Gloria on Modern Family.

Vergara doesn’t mention whether she has something more planned with the costume — will Rico Rodriguez be dressing up as Bud Bundy? — but if Sagal ever wanted to appear on Modern Family for another Married… crossover, Vergara seems to have at least a few jokes in mind already.
