Playing House will conclude its second season with Kenny Loggins, Zach Woods sporting mascara, and Keegan-Michael Key in a tux.

Okay fine, the final two episodes airing back-to-back Tuesday night will be slightly more complicated than that, according to Jessica St. Clair and Lennon Parham — the duo behind best friends Emma and Maggie, respectively — but they will be jam(mer)-packed. “[The finale’s] definitely got a little bit of everything for everyone,” Parham tells EW. “There’s music, there’s singing, there’s Kenny Loggins, there’s puns.”

To recap, Emma and Maggie have just returned to Pinebrook after their eventful weekend at Lake Kimmewah, where Rabbi Dan (Kyle Bornheimer) crashed their girls-only outing after Emma overeagerly encouraged him to show up. As the season winds down, she’s torn about the relationship, St. Clair says. “All of it sort of blows up in [Emma’s] face … in a really hot and sexy way,” she jokes. (“Gross,” Parham replies.) At the same time, Emma’s questioning how she feels about the newly single Mark (Keegan-Michael Key) given their close couch encounter midway through the season. In the penultimate episode, Mark is being awarded Officer of the Year, and Emma steps in to plan the ball celebrating the police department, which means more screen time for Key. “One of our season 2 goals was to get Keegan-Michael Key in a tuxedo and get him dancing,” St. Clair explains. “We’re going to deliver both of those in episode 7.”

As for the finale, Kenny Loggins appears — and ends up meeting both Bosephus and Jandana. Parham still has trouble believing Loggins actually agreed to guest-star. “I got very nervous, because he for me elicited something like a Beatles reaction,” she says. “He was totally grounded … He learned to play ‘Celebrate Me Home’ on the guitar for us.” In the episode, Maggie and Emma attempt to go to a Kenny Loggins concert, but end up having to disguise themselves as Bosephus and Jandana to make it in. Zach (Zach Woods), who tags along, gets a different look. “Zach Woods is going to be heavily mascara’ed and have a full smoky eye, so that’s something to look forward to,” St. Clair teases. “And we’re going to answer the question of whether Kenny Loggins still has it, both vocally and sexually.” (“Alright, gross,” Parham replies for a second time.)

Watch the pair visit Loggins’ backstage lair — complete with puns, sheepskin, and a quick appearance by Loggins himself — in this exclusive clip below.

The final two episodes of Playing House‘s second season air Tuesday at 10 p.m. ET on USA.
