Carol Burnett talks Carol Burnett Show, Lucille Ball

With The Carol Burnett Show‘s first five seasons finally making their way to DVD after years out of the spotlight, the legendary comedian herself stopped by EW’s SiriusXM studio to talk about the legacy of the show and one of its most important guest stars.

Burnett spoke with EW and People‘s Jess Cagle about the reemergence of the classic Burnett Show episodes, and about her close relationship to Lucille Ball. Watch the interview above as Burnett reflects on her and Ball’s working relationship, appearing on each other’s shows, and the still-felt influence of Ball and Desi Arnaz on television.
