Heidi Klum: Halloween costume teased by model on Instagram

Few celebrities tackle Halloween with the same gusto as Heidi Klum. The model has turned out impressive and intricately crafted costumes in years past, and she’s now teasing her latest look for the upcoming festivities.

“It’s almost time for my favorite holiday,” she wrote on Instagram. “Costume prep time with the team at @prorenfx Can’t wait for Halloween!”

Prosthetic Renaissance is a prosthetics, makeup, and practical effects company that’s worked on films like Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb, Deliver Us From Evil, and Black Swan. Now they’re working to make Klum’s concept come to life.

“So yucky but so worth it in the end,” Klum wrote alongside a photo of her covered in blue muck. See photos and video of the creation process below.

Some of Klum’s most standout costumes have been Lady Godiva on horseback (2001), the snake and apple from The Garden of Eden (2006), and a purple-skinned alien (2010). Any guesses as to what she’s transforming into next?
